Every manuscript goes through three signed human passes: structural, line, and copy/proof. Automated analysis supports the editors — it does not replace them. No manuscript ships without an editorial dossier signed off in writing.

No. AI handles analysis at scale — voice consistency scoring, structural mapping, comparable-title matching. The editorial judgement — what to keep, what to cut, what to defend — remains with Tucker Peterson, our Lead Editor, and his team.

Why exclusive Amazon KDP distribution? Why not multi-platform?

Amazon KDP commands the largest share of the digital book market in our target territories, and exclusive distribution unlocks KDP Select benefits — higher royalty rates and Kindle Unlimited visibility. We pursue depth over breadth on the dominant channel rather than dilute focus across many.

Do you ever publish outside Amazon KDP?

By exception only, on the Imprint tier, and only when an institution has an existing distribution agreement we are contractually bound to honour. The default pipeline is KDP-exclusive.

What's the minimum volume to qualify for the Agency tier?

Agency tier is built for ghostwriting agencies submitting multiple manuscripts per quarter. Author tier is per-manuscript and suits individual authors. The editorial desk can advise on which tier fits during onboarding.

How quickly can we onboard?

Accepted Answer

Author tier: same business day. Agency tier: a few business days to set up the dedicated programme manager and shared channel. Imprint tier: longer, depending on custom voice work and on-prem vault provisioning.

Which AI models do you actually use, and why?

Accepted Answer

We build on Amazon KDP for distribution, OpenRouter for routing, DeepSeek for structural reasoning, Anthropic Claude for editorial voice, Stripe for payments, and Vercel for hosting. Each model is selected for the task it is fit for; human editors review every automated pass before it reaches the author.

How is my manuscript data protected?

Manuscripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never train public models on your manuscripts, and we do not retain submitted work beyond what is required to deliver the editorial pipeline. Imprint tier offers additional data-handling arrangements for institutions with specific residency requirements.
